After years of breeding and raising quality Poodles, we have made the tough decision to retire our breeding program. We are so proud of all of our dogs and puppies that we had the privilege of raising. The families that have adopted from us over the years have been an absolute joy to work with, and we will miss meeting new families and seeing the joy when they meet their puppy. We do have a breeding female available for adoption in a pet homes. Please see the information below.
Merida is a such a quiet and lovely girl, she is not shy with new people but is with new situations. Winnie does make her a bit braver but she would settle in very easily knowing this. She doesn't love the car yet, as we live on a farm so she just has not been exposed very much.
She is a very well put together dog both physically and temperament-wise and well-put-together. She does not bark very much, and quiets down when asked. She is also good on the leash. She is very affectionate and loves to cuddle. She also loves her crate and prefers to sleep in it.
Her coat is very easily managed and is not prone to matting, because we live on a farm, I tend to clip her quite short a few times per year and then let it grow out. She would do very well with a family with or without kids, she is used to sharing attention with Winnie but she may be shy around another adult dog in the house. She would do better with it being either just her or with a family that adds a puppy after she has time to settle.
Merida was to be placed in a guardian home; however life happened with the guardian family when she was just a few months old so she stayed here on the farm until she retired from our breeding program, as to not shuffle her about. Merida is a fantastic mother to three very healthy litters.
Her adoption fee is $750 and this covers her spay/veterinary health certificate, as well as updated immunization including rabies. She is microchipped.
She is a moyen size purebred poodle and is 4-years-old and is about 35lbs.
If interested please reach out to me either with the application form or you can email me directly at aimeemcharg@gmail.com

Our puppies are born in and are raised in our homes with my fourteen-year-old daughter, our three other dogs and our two well mannered cats; where they are exposed to the sounds and routines of a home. We pride ourselves on raising very well-rounded puppies that are part of the family; they receive a tremendous amount of handling including weekly nail trimmings and daily socialization training has been implemented to ensure they are sound in temperament

Our dogs are health tested and we provide a health guarantee for our puppies covering all that we test for. Full Poodle panel DNA testing and cleared hips/elbows.
We introduce the Early Neurological Stimulation technique between 3 to 16 days old, this technique is very well known to be extremely beneficial for neurological/cardiovascular

We introduce the Early Neurological Stimulation technique between 3 to 16 days old, this technique is very well known to be extremely beneficial for neurological/cardiovascular/circulatory health for the rest of the dogs life but must be performed daily during this small window of time early in the puppies life. (source: http://breedingbetterdogs.com/article/early-neurological-stimulation)
We also follow the puppy culture program when introducing new stimulus training to the pups
Puppies will be dewormed twice, have their 1st immunization shots, microchipped, and be certified healthy by a veterinarian.
At 8 weeks, puppies will be litter trained, be started on crate training, and using the dog door.

We are confident in the health of our dogs; however, we do offer a 1 year health guarantee in the very unlikely case that your puppy has a congenital illness/disease that we test for you will be offered either a replacement puppy or the purchase price of your puppy from the next litter. The details of this are in our contract and are fair

The details of this are in our contract and are fairly standard with reputable breeders.
From our research there are two very important factors that puppy owners must be aware of: do not over exercise your puppy until they are fully developed/always offer your puppy traction while in your home especially in areas where they may want to run/play and do not take them out in public until at least their 2nd set of immunizations if not the 3rd to ensure immunity.
